Diane Eades, Director of Memory Care
Diane has always had a special place in her heart for children and seniors. “You learn so much from both,” she says. After 22 years of teaching elementary students and volunteering in senior communities, she became a Life Enrichment Coordinator in a memory care community. She knew right away she’d found her path.
“After teaching young students new skills that would benefit them in life, I now help residents and friends not lose skills they have already learned,” says Diane, who cites compassion as her favorite core value. “Compassion comes from the heart. When you lead with compassion, everyone in the community benefits.”
Outside of the workplace, Diane enjoys hiking, visiting wineries and breweries to hear live entertainment, binge-watching “Friends,” and spending time with her family (daughters Grace, Caroline and Meredith, and dogs Phoebe and Joey). “Most of all I love to laugh and make others laugh.”
A perfect vacation for Diane is a small cabin in Rockport, Massachusetts, where she can drink coffee while watching sailboats and lobster boats go out each morning. “It’s my small piece of heaven,” she says.
