What is Independent Living?

What is Independent Living? Independent living communities are designed for those able to live easily on their own, encompassing a wide variety of housing styles and often incorporating additional amenities such as meals and leisure activities. Just because your address changes, doesn’t mean you have to change with it. Residents still have your own private room, have access to common areas, and enjoy meals in the dining room, bistro, or anywhere of their choosing. For the most part, residents remain autonomous during their stay.

What else does my independent living residence come with?

• House Keeping-once a week
• One free meal daily
• Internet
• Electricity
• Water
• Emergency Pull Chords with 24/7 service

Everyone talks about activities. What kinds of activities or social clubs are available to your independent living residents?

Our residents help create our Activity Calendar creating an extensive variety of options. We offer daily exercise classes (twice a day), live music concerts multiple times per week, art classes, movies, documentaries, lectures, a wide variety of games (Bridge, poker, mahjong, scrabble, Bingo, bumper pool, Wii Bowling, and more), cooking demonstrations, and more.
